OrdoDicomViewAx is an ActiveX control for displaying a wide range of DICOM files in your Windows applications.

Architecture
OrdoDicomViewAx combines an ActiveX control, which exposes the programming interface, with embedded Microsoft WebView2 panes. Images are rendered in these panes by a viewer built on Cornerstone.js.
The control contains four panes:
- three stacked panes, brought to the front as needed: the image viewer, the DICOM tag list and the media directory browser;
- a file list on the left, filled by the LoadDirectory method.
WebView2 integration relies on modified versions of the cWebView2 classes by Vladimir Vissoultchev (wqweto), which wrap the Microsoft WebView2 component.
Installation
The setup program installs:
- the OrdoDicomViewAx OCX control;
- a fixed version of the Microsoft WebView2 runtime (you can also use the Evergreen runtime, which Microsoft updates automatically);
- a small Visual Basic 6 sample application with its source code and demo Dicom files, to show how to use the control.
Deployment
The Redistribuable folder contains OrdoDicomViewAxControlRedistribuable.exe, which installs the control and its dependencies on client machines. Run it with the /verysilent switch to include it in your own application's installer.
